Personal Injury Litigator

We have a new opportunity for a Personal Injury Fee Earner/ Litigator to join this thriving team based in South London.

HYBRID WORKING.

The firm have a growing team of Litigators, taking care of Road Traffic Accidents, Employer Liability and Public Liability cases.

The Role:
- You will handle a caseload of Defendant matters
- Caseload will consist of litigated and pre-litigated files
- Predominantly RTA motor claims, some ELPL
- Files will range in value and complexity generally up to c100k

What you'll be doing:
- Negotiating settlement on the best possible terms for the client
- Drafting vital documentation to issue court proceedings, staying in sync with court directions and ready the file for a final court hearing
- Collaborate closely with counsel and deal with any vital costs statements

What we are looking for:
- Competent litigator
- Ideally experience dealing with Defendant claims although Claimant fee earners will also be considered
- Experience in dealing with litigated RTA claims both small and fast track is crucial
- Knowledge of the Pre Action Protocol, the Court Procedure Rules (CPR) and Practice Directions as well as awareness of the - - Fatal Accidents Act, other statutes and changes in the law
- Experience of using a Case Management System
