Interim Head of Legal

Join a fast-paced business that houses a number of household name brands and has an exciting growth plan. As Interim Head of Legal, you will add real value to the business - negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, managing spend, and collaborating with the SLT to drive business growth.

This is an initial 6 month FTC, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The business operates a genuine hybrid environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the legal function, with a good level autonomy while having support from senior stakeholders.

The work involved is challenging & varied and includes supply agreements, procurement, GDPR, etc. You will also manage a legal budget and external advisors who will support on property, employment, litigation, and corporate.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Interim Head of Legal to make a real difference to the Legal function and set them up for success. The role would suit a Senior Legal Counsel who is ready to take the step up into a Head of Legal role, or an existing Head of Legal who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to further develop your skillset.

The Person

· This position will suit a Senior Commercial Lawyer with 7+ years PQE
· Comfortable handling a broad range of work
· Confident operating at a senior level and building relationships with stakeholders
· Must be able to start at short notice
