General Counsel

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working on a high-profile General Counsel opportunity on a permanent basis with a highly valued London-based NHS Foundation Trust.

On offer is a generous salary between £91,000 - £104,000 per annum, plus NHS pension, annual leave entitlement and other NHS benefits. The role will be worked on a hybrid basis, offering 2 days remote working and 3 days office attendance per week in London.

The role:

The successful General Counsel will line manage a small legal team, as well as collaborating and liaising with senior, executive members of the Trust. This will involve attending board committee meetings and providing complex advice on a wide range of legal and governance matters.

About You:

The client is looking for a Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx) with strong leadership qualities, who can be adaptable in providing legal advice around corporate and commercial law, research and development, compliance, governance, partnerships, joint ventures and more. They are open to applications from those in both the public and private sector.

This is an excellent move for someone with existing leadership experience, or someone who is looking for a step-up into a leadership role who can demonstrate suitable attributes.
