CRA Consulting is pleased to be working with a well-established law firm in Bolton seeking an experienced Wills & Contentious Probate Locum Solicitor to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a flexible opportunity suited to an experienced private client lawyer looking for part-time locum work, with the option to work fully remotely. There may also be scope for the successful candidate to work full-time, depending on availability and preference.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload covering:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Contentious probate matters
• Inheritance disputes
• Advising beneficiaries and executors
• Estate-related disputes and claims
• Taking instructions and advising clients
• Liaising with beneficiaries, executors and third parties
• Managing matters independently from instruction through to conclusion

The role offers flexibility around working arrangements and would suit a solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload remotely with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong Private Client experience
• Experience handling wills and probate matters
• Previous experience dealing with contentious probate matters
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Confidence working remotely
• Availability for an immediate start
• Commitment to a long-term locum assignment

• £45-£60 per hour, depending on experience
