Excellent opportunity for a commercial underwriter or experienced commercial property lawyer (2/3PQE+) with European arm of an international corporate.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter to join the TEAM and be at the forefront of driving business forward in POLAND.

ROLE

As an Underwriter YOU will grow & lead client / broker negotiations in this market focussing ROLE based in Poland.

The ROLE will involve underwriting high net worth commercial legal indemnity risks, negotiating and maximising business profitability by means of effective underwriting decisions and techniques.

YOU will have significant limits and authority on cases of technical complexity.

YOU will build strong relationships with clients, lawyers & brokers & develop these relationships through presentations, meetings, & corporate events to win business from new & existing clients & identify market opportunities for new products that meet clients' needs.

YOU will work closely with other areas of the business to achieve high levels of customer service.

Appropriate underwriting and product training will be given.

YOU

An outstanding opportunity for a qualified lawyer or someone with a strong commercial property / real estate background who has a detailed knowledge of the commercial real estate market in Poland.

YOU will have proven experience of handling acquisitions and disposal, landlord & tenant and development work, and the sale and acquisition of commercial sites for development purposes.

Any experience of cross border transactions or M+A experience will be advantageous.

YOU must be a dynamic, ambitious, business minded professional, with sound commercial acumen together with proven ability to influence key decision makers;

YOU will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a flair for negotiation and relationship building.

Independent and able to work on your own initiative, YOU will also have the ability to function effectively in a team environment.

YOU will need to be fluent in Polish and English.

Excellent remuneration package on offer including bonus & private healthcare.

YOU will work from home / business hubs as well as travel to other European offices from time to time.
