The Privacy Manager Role:
As Privacy Manager, you will identify, lead and implement data privacy compliance initiatives across Pax8 EMEA, working closely with the global teams.
You will be the "go-to" subject matter expert for data privacy across EMEA, you will champion a world class approach to data protection that will showcase Pax8 as a trusted business and partner within our industry.
Your Day to Day in this role includes:
+ Implement and enforce data privacy initiatives to meet the growing needs of the business, our partners and the evolving legal landscape, including maintaining our records of processing.
+ Conduct regular reviews to evaluate and advise on best practices across EMEA in collaboration with key stakeholders.
+ Develop actions plans and project plans, including road maps to deliver on time work through effective project management.
+ Understand regulatory and technical changes as they happen to escalate and advise.
+ Manage procedures for vetting and auditing vendors and other third parties in accordance with Governance, Compliance and Data Security policies.
+ Assist with responding to compliance audits, questionnaires, and data subject access requests.
+ Support all Pax8 EMEA compliance frameworks, including ISO9001, ISO27001, GDPR, SOC2, et
+ Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programmes, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training.
+ Frequent travel to other Pax8 offices around Europe
You'll be ideal for this role if you have:
+ Hold a CIPP/E, LLB Law or similar qualification
+ Significant experience within a data privacy role.
+ Previous experience leading and project managing data privacy or similar initiatives.
+ Experience with data privacy compliance reviews, preparing records of processing, drafting and maintaining policies and handling data subject access requests.
+ Working knowledge of data privacy across EMEA.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Ability to grasp complex ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
+ Full Passport is essential so you are able to travel to other Pax8 offices in Europe as needed
