Locum Adult Social Care Paralegal –  Remote Working – Up to £26 per hour Umbrella – Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are thrilled to be recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Care Paralegal to join a reputable Local Authority based in the Midlands area. This assignment is offered for a period of 3-6 months with the possibility of further extension.

This will be a remote working position however, you will be required to attend the office on your first day to collect your IT equipment and have your induction.

Although our client are looking for a Locum to join on a full time basis, candidates with the right experience that can only work part-time time will also be considered.

Daily duties may include but not limited to:

• - Diarise Court hearings, meetings and other key dates

• - Drafted documents and applications, community DoLs and COP applications (COPDOL11, COP9 etc.)
• - Filed DoLs applications with the COP
• - Assisted Lawyers with bundles, liaising with other parties, Courts and booking Counsel
• - Completed C2 and C110 forms and uploaded the documents onto Court portal
• - Requested disclosures from schools, hospitals and other agencies as required

A rate of up to £26 per hour umbrella is offered for this position. Candidates will be considered on a case by case basis, and the hourly rate shown will be dependent upon levels of experience – there may be a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.
