This is a rare opportunity for a mid level Solicitor (4-8 PQE) to join a leading international law firm in Birmingham focusing on UK and EU public procurement law matters alongside genuine experts in this area.

The Role
The successful Public Procurement Solicitor will:
· Join a subsidy control/state aid, procurement and trade practice advising private as well as public sector clients on the complete spectrum of these issues.
· Work with colleagues across the UK as well as in Dusseldorf and Munich.

About you
The successful Public Procurement Solicitor will:
· Be a qualified Solicitor with between 4 and 8 years' PQE.
· Have experience advising on all aspects of UK and EU procurement laws.
· Ideally have experience in utility, defence and concession contracts (experience in advising on contentious matters, including court proceedings and dispute resolution, is not essential but would be preferable).
· Have strong analytical and drafting skills.
· Have excellent client facing skills and an enthusiasm for business development and be willing to take a lead role on matters and client relationships with appropriate partner or legal director support.
