CRA Consulting is delighted to be working with a long-established and highly respected law firm in Newark to recruit a Property Paralegal.
With an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to both private individuals and businesses, this firm offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative property department. You'll gain exposure to a varied caseload spanning both residential and commercial property matters while working alongside experienced lawyers committed to your professional development.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised paralegal looking to further their career within property law. You'll provide essential support to fee earners across a broad range of transactions, developing your technical knowledge and client management skills in a busy and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with a wide variety of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Drafting legal documents, contracts and correspondence
• Preparing contract packs and supporting due diligence processes
• Carrying out Land Registry applications and property searches
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors and other third parties
• Managing files and ensuring case management systems remain up to date
• Supporting post-completion matters and general departmental administration
• Delivering an excellent standard of client care throughout each transaction

About You

• Previous experience working within a residential property or mixed property team as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
• A good understanding of the conveyancing process
• Commercial property experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload whilst maintaining high standards of client service
