Location: Belper, Derbyshire
Rate: £50-£65 per hour
Contract: Ongoing Locum Assignment

CRA Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected regional law firm in Derbyshire that is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Locum Solicitor to join its team during an exceptionally busy period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident commercial property lawyer looking for a flexible locum assignment within a friendly, collaborative, and well-established practice. You will work alongside an experienced team, handling a varied and interesting caseload with the autonomy and flexibility that locum work provides.

You will be responsible for managing a broad range of commercial property matters, providing high-quality legal support from initial instruction through to completion.

Your caseload will include:

• Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
• Landlord and tenant matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
• Property development transactions
• Property aspects of business sales and acquisitions
• General commercial property transactions

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent
• Strong commercial property experience within private practice
• The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to hit the ground running
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred

• Competitive hourly rate of £50-£65 per hour, dependent on experience
• Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options
