The Employment Law Legal Assistant / Junior Paralegal role:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assisting with the management of employment law cases from start to finish, under the supervision of a qualified solicitor
+ Drafting legal documents such as contracts, settlement agreements, and tribunal documentation
+ Conducting legal research and preparing legal briefs for senior members of the team
+ Communicating with clients and updating them on the progress of their case
+ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and databases
+ Undertaking administrative tasks such as diary management and file opening/closing, credit chasing
+ Attending meetings with clients and taking notes
+ Answering incoming enquiries and recording these on Redview
+ Setting up new files and completing ID and AML searches
+ Very good time management and organisation
What we are looking for:
+ A minimum of 1 years’ experience in an employment law role
+ A law degree or equivalent qualification
+ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
+ A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software such as
+ Experience using a case management system would be an advantage ideally LEAP
