The Candidate
You will be a senior Solicitor, in the region of 6 - 10 years pqe
You will have experience in some (not necessarily all) of the following areas, contentious and/or non-contentious experience is relevant
· Advising digital/Internet companies on legal issues and risks
· Interest/advice around developing laws and their impact on digital business eg Online Harms Bill, Digital Services/Markets Act, AI Act, New Deal for Consumers
· Governance, risk and compliance experience (including working with risk and compliance functions, internal audit etc)
· Work in a regulated sector and/or with regulators
· Technology laws advisory work/experience for digital companies (cloud, AI, blockchain, deep fakes, quantum computing, disruptive tech)
· Agile thinkers: the ability to advise on new digital areas and new laws and regs and the related legal issues/risks/compliance
