Litigation Manager Jobs

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Principal Lawyer to make an impact within our Accidents team.

You will be engaged in challenging and rewarding casework as you represent clients who are victims of Road Traffic Accidents, Employers Liability and Occupier’s Liability, as well as occasional cases involving product liability, sports injuries and injuries caused by animals. You will also take responsibility for best practice in marketing, client care and ensuring case management standards are implemented and upheld throughout the team. We encourage all of our lawyers to be strong advocates for the work we do and to actively engage in marketing and business development opportunities by cross selling services, e.g. with local/regional union officials and events.

As a Principal Lawyer you will work towards achieving the required operational and financial performance, driving the success of the team and Branch as a whole whilst you actively mentor, develop and supervise a team. The ideal candidate would be an admitted solicitor or FILEX with significant post qualification experience, or equivalent experience of at least 8 years and operating as a Court Grade A. You will possess strong supervisory skills with excellent client care and interpersonal skills, coupled with an enthusiasm to train and share experiences.

Dealing with our union clients and colleagues, as well as at other marketing events requires the candidate to have good understanding of the relevant statutory and common law legal practice and procedures with the ability to be able to clearly communicate this knowledge to your audience.
