An authorised lawyer is a chartered legal executive. Chartered Legal Executives specialise in a particular field of law and work with Solicitors or CILEx Practitioners on restricted legal work. You also work on the criminal code (where you defend or take a court case against a person accused of a crime). You also cover the area of business and company law (laws relating to businesses, such as tax or employment) and courtroom battles (going to court to sort out disputes). Legal Executive Job Responsibilities

The Legal Executives provide legal advice to clients and clarify complex legal issues.
