Locum Childcare Paralegal –  Remote Working – Up to £25 per hour Umbrella – East Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are thrilled to be recruiting for a Locum Childcare Paralegal to join a reputable Local Authority based in the East Midlands. This assignment is offered for a period of 3 months and will be worked on a remote working basis.

Although our client are looking for a Locum to join on a full time basis, candidates with the right experience that can only work part-time time will also be considered.

Daily duties may include but not limited to:

• Drafting documents including: Part 25 Applications, letters before proceedings, briefs to counsel, and letters of instruction to experts
• Liaising with the client department to ensure progress is achieved in a timely manner
• Obtaining costs estimates and availability of expert witnesses
• Gathering evidence and documentation including taking witness statements from lay witnesses

A rate of up to £25 per hour umbrella is offered for this position. Candidates will be considered on a case by case basis, and the hourly rate shown will be dependent upon levels of experience – there may be a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.
