Corporate Immigration Associate - Legal Director - Birmingham - National firm

Top 100 and award winning national law firm is seeking a Corporate Immigration Associate to join its team in Birmingham acting for clients in the higher education institutions, NHS and healthcare, central and local government, private sector especially international corporations. This Corporate Immigration Associate opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible working options considered and high levels of remote working allowed. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

The Role

As a Corporate Immigration Associate in this growing team, you would:
- Deliver training/workshops to relevant managers on the law surrounding work permits and the Points Based System.
- Advise on EU and Brexit issues affecting EEA staff
- Advise on related employment law matters such as the right to work and when to suspend
- Work alongside an experienced team delivering planning for UKVI audits
- Defend prosecutions and responding to UKVI investigations
- Be involved in complex business immigration cases
- Be involved in business development.

About You

To be successful in your application for this Immigration Corporate Associate vacancy, you will have:
- A minimum of 4 years' PQE in business immigration.
- An interest in advising clients within various sectors including higher education institutions, NHS and healthcare, central and local government, private sector especially international corporations.
- Experience in corporate immigration matters including succession planning
- A good teamwork ethic.
- Good client relationship skills.
