Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 (Negotiable)

About the business:

CRA Legal are recruiting for a well-established, regional law firm. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Fee Earner to join their reputable Criminal Defence Department, in either their Chesterfield Office.

If successful, you will perform the following role as an Criminal Defence Lawyer:

* Representing clients from initial police caution through to the magistrates court
* Attending police station interviews
* Attend Magistrate Court proceedings
* Liaising with clients, council, opposing council and barristers
* Overseeing a varied criminal defence caseload

To apply, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

* You will either be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
* It is vital you have experience running a varied criminal defence caseload from initial police caution to magistrates court work
* Applications welcome from newly qualified lawyers
* Duty Solicitor accreditation is desired
