FAMILY SOLICITOR - SENIOR ASSOCIATE - NEWCASTLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Family Solicitor to join an ambitious and fast-moving family team in Newcastle.

This is a role for someone who is already running their own files and is ready to take on a more challenging and sophisticated caseload.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of complex financial remedy and private children matters, with a significant proportion involving business assets, trusts and international elements.

This is genuinely senior work from day one, with responsibility for managing matters independently, developing strong client relationships and taking ownership of cases from start to finish. The role would suit an experienced Senior Associate, whether coming from private practice or the Bar, who is looking for greater responsibility, more complex work and a clear path for progression.

The team is looking for someone who is ambitious and driven, proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to take ownership rather than wait to be given the next task.

You will be comfortable managing demanding and complex matters independently, as well as be an excellent communicator who can support clients through difficult moments while providing clear, honest and pragmatic advice, even when it is not the answer they hoped to hear.

You will be a confident advocate or someone keen tp develop their advocacy skills and take on greater responsibility in court.
