A leading UK law firm is looking to add a Senior Associate to its highly regarded Employment team in Leeds.

The Role:
· Senior Associate within the Employment team
· Highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package

· Advising employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
· Supporting clients with complex employee relations issues, disciplinaries, grievances, discrimination matters, restructures and redundancies
· Managing Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution matters
· Advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE and due diligence exercises
· Supporting clients on senior executive exits, restrictive covenant disputes and workplace investigations
· Working on domestic and international employment projects for major UK and multinational clients
· Taking responsibility for client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
· Supervising junior lawyers and playing an active role in team development
· Supporting marketing, networking and business development initiatives

The Candidate:
· Qualified solicitor with 5-8 years' PQE in Employment law
· Strong experience advising employer clients on both employment advisory and employment litigation matters
· Experience gained within a recognised regional, national or international law firm
· Excellent technical employment law knowledge and strong commercial awareness
· Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable managing client relationships and handling matters with a high degree of autonomy
· Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous
· Ambitious, proactive and commercially minded approach
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Collaborative team player with a genuine interest in business development and career progression
