Our nationally-recognised and dedicated Costs client is seeking an experienced Senior Costs Draftsman to join their team in Manchester and Leeds. Home/Hybrid working will be an option for the successful applicant.

This is a great chance for someone looking to take the step up from a junior Costs position and take on more responsibility.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in:

• Drafting budgets
• Attending CCMC
• Drafting bills in complex high value matters
• Drafting points of dispute
• Drafting replies

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating bills of costs
• Attending detailed assessments and negotiating settlements
• Providing advice to clients on cost-related matters
• Preparing and filing court documents
• Managing and prioritising workload

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Full understanding of the CPR and excellent negotiation skills
• Advocacy experience is beneficial but not essential
