A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leading corporate team at this top tier international practice, in London.

The firm, which ranks as one of the leading firms in London, with a particular focus on Corporate as their core practice, are looking to expand their Corporate offering with the addition of a junior/mid-level associate, from two years qualified, up to six years' post qualification experience.

The corporate team in London is highly established, focuses on the Energy sector, specifically Oil & Gas, with a number of Partners who specialise in this area, handling a range of complex M&A and joint venture transactions.

In terms of the work which the wider corporate team undertakes, this predominantly consists of:

- Private & Public M&A
- VC
- ECM
- General Corporate Advisory
- Banking, security and insolvency
- Start-ups
- Reorganisations
- Alternative finance

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £115,000 from 2 years' PQE, up to £130k at 6 years' PQE, in addition to a relatively industry standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1500.

This position is ideally suited to corporate associates with experience in the Energy sector. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

· A strong academic background
· Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
· Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
