We are working with a highly regarded national law firm looking to appoint a Junior Construction Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded national Construction team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-3 PQE solicitor with a genuine interest in contentious construction work. The role will be predominantly contentious, with the opportunity to gain exposure to non-contentious matters if desired.

The Opportunity
You will:
· Work on a high-quality and complex caseload of contentious construction matters, including adjudication and litigation
· Advise clients on construction disputes and provide commercially focused, pragmatic solutions
· Gain experience across a range of dispute resolution methods, including mediation
· Have the opportunity to undertake some non-contentious construction work, should you wish to broaden your experience
· Work with a diverse client base including national developers and contractors, leading housebuilders and major housing associations
· Develop strong client relationships and benefit from a good level of direct client contact and responsibility
· Receive regular support, mentoring and development from experienced lawyers across the national team
· Take an active role in business development, networking and marketing initiatives
· Develop your profile and expertise with the support of a team committed to helping you become a recognised specialist in your field

The ideal candidate will be an NQ-3 PQE solicitor with a genuine interest in contentious construction work. You may be newly qualified or have several years of experience and be ready to take the next step in your career. Ideally, you will have gained experience within a specialist Construction team or completed a Construction seat during your training.

You'll be a proactive, ambitious and commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to develop their expertise and client relationships within a highly regarded national practice.
