An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor (or above) to join the Construction team of a highly respected national law firm, based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a top-ranked team handling a broad mix of both contentious and non-contentious construction work.

This full-service law firm is nationally recognised for its strength in the real estate and construction sectors, advising a diverse client base across the public and private sectors. Clients include developers, contractors, local authorities, NHS trusts, universities, and transport bodies, across projects in infrastructure, energy, education, and commercial development.

The Role:
You'll work on a wide range of matters, including:

Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC4, etc.)

Advising on procurement and risk management strategies

Assisting in dispute resolution matters, including adjudication, mediation, and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court

Supporting client relationships and business development efforts

You'll join a collaborative, well-established team that is regularly recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers UK.

Who Should Apply:

NQ solicitors, including those qualifying in 2025, are encouraged to apply

You should have completed at least one training seat in construction, commercial real estate, or commercial litigation (with a construction focus being ideal)

Strong communication, drafting, and organisational skills are essential

A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in construction law will be highly valued
