BCL Legal has been instructed by a fast-growing international law firm to source a Construction Solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join their premier Construction & Engineering practice in Dublin.

The Role

You will work alongside market-leading partners on high-stakes, complex matters across the full life cycle of domestic and international infrastructure, real estate, energy, and utilities projects.

The practice handles a highly impressive balance of work, meaning the role can be tailored to your specific strengths, though it primarily focuses on non-contentious construction advisory, including:

Advising major public bodies, blue-chip private developers, financial institutions, and tier-one contractors on landmark Irish development schemes.

Drafting, negotiating, and amending standard form and bespoke construction contracts (including RIAI, IEI, JCT, and NEC forms).

Advising on complex forward-funding structures, development financing, and property-related project transactions.

Collaborating seamlessly with the firm's market-leading Real Estate, Banking, and Corporate teams on major cross-border transactions.

About You

2-5 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) specialising in construction law (ideally non-contentious, though candidates with a mixed contentious/non-contentious background looking to specialise are highly encouraged to apply).

Trained and qualified within a leading top-tier, mid-tier, or established international commercial law firm environment.

A strong technical understanding of construction procurement, development financing, and contract risk allocation.

A commercial mindset, excellent client-facing skills, and the drive to thrive in a progressive, open, and forward-thinking workplace culture.
