About the role

Following the success of our first recruitment drive we are now looking to add another team member. We have created a new People legal team encompassing Adult Social Care, Education, Mental and Public Health and are looking to add an Education Lawyer responsible for SEN Tribunal cases. 

What will you be doing?

If you have experience in providing advice on Special Educational Needs appeals (with or without advocacy experience), a passion for delivering excellent legal services and want to help shape and deliver an exemplar local authority legal service, we want to hear from you.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role.  The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
