The successful candidate will deal with clients and professionals directly and therefore will be well-presented and demonstrate a confident, efficient and professional manner. Excellent IT skills are essential, and applicants must have GCSE grades 9 – 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths as a minimum. The successful candidate must be organised and prepared to work on their own and as part of a growing team. Previous experience in an office environment would be a beneficial but is not essential. The role will include, but is not limited to, the following:- * Answering the telephone on reception and taking messages * Meeting and greeting clients * Preparing refreshments for staff and clients * Archiving files * Logging deeds and other legal documents in and out of storage * Taking and processing payments * Scanning and sorting incoming post * Delivering outgoing post * Photocopying * Keeping the reception area, meeting room and kitchen clean and tidy * Ordering stationery and office supplies Although the role is primarily based in our Ulverston Office, the successful candidate will be expected to work from any of our offices when required. A full, clean driver’s licence and access to own transport will therefore be an advantage.The successful candidate will be trained in the use of necessary legal software and office procedures.Office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm. Salary will be paid according to qualifications and practical experience.
