We are currently seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join our IT team.

Team Structure

There are currently around 50 employees in the Information Technology team. This role will be reporting to the Service Desk Manager.

**Main **Responsibilities

*

Work effectively, efficiently and respectfully alongside other Technical Support Analysts

*

Provide operational and technical support for the Firm globally

*

Provide a mixture of desk-based, remote and at-desk support as appropriate and in-line with operational needs

*

Escalation of urgent/ difficult or large impacting calls to the Technical Team Lead

*

Provide regular updates on progress on the ticket notes and to the requestor

*

To provide assistance as a project resource as and when required

*

Using suppliers as a source of escalation to resolve problems

*

Creating and maintaining support documentation, providing any suggestions of improvements to the IT Training team with regards to the user guidance material

*

Report to the Technical Team Leader patterns or trends of calls as a form of Problem Management

*

Attributes/skills required

*

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

*

Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange

*

Excellent knowledge of Active Directory

*

FileSite experience ¿ client side troubleshooting, how do I¿s, and awareness of import and exporting data.

*

Experience of legal software: time recording, PMS, CRM

*

Customer-focussed with excellent communication and inter-personal skills

*

Proven ability to deal with people at all levels

*

Team-oriented with the ability to deal with tasks effectively

*

Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle a constantly changing workload

*

Resilient, assertive and hardworking

*

Self-starter, capable of working under their own initiative & meet deadlines

*

Flexible, professional and proactive

*

Able to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands

*

Self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills

*

Aptitude for problem-solving and documenting the solution

*

Work in collaboration with other members of the IT team

*

Professional, diplomatic and persuasive

*

Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external clients

*

The ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels

Education and Experience

*

Previous experience within a legal partnership or professional services environment

*

Experience of supporting and using Windows 7 and Office 200 and MAC OS

*

Experience of supporting mobile devices using an MDM solution

*

Experience of supporting legal applications such as Worksite, Big-Hand, Elite Enterprise amongst others

*

Experience of Virtual desktops and VPN technologies

*

Experience of PC, laptop, printer, network troubleshooting
