My client is a leading, full-service practice that has a unique opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor/ Supervisor to join a busy Family department on a permanent basis at their brand-new Bedford office. Salary circa £50,000 p/a dependent on experience with fantastic benefits available.

This role would be well suited to an experienced lawyer looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of funded family work whilst overseeing a dynamic team of paralegals in relation to casework, ensuring adequate supervision/training is given to the team.

Working within a highly skilled and reputable team, you will lead the family department and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and updating precedents, developing training programmes and assisting fee earners with technical queries. There will also be the chance to take an active involvement in business development, aligning with the firm's ongoing development plans.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside one of the today's most exciting and ambitious specialist law firms. Although only a guideline, it is anticipated the successful candidate will hold at least 5 years PQE from a leading regional or city firm, have a strong background in publicly family work and ideally; family panel membership. On top of this, the chosen Family Solicitor will be commercially aware, ensuring that files are billed on time and that you strive to achieve department targets.
