Solicitor – Property Litigation

Vacancy details

We are looking for someone to become part of our highly successful property litigation team based in one of our seven national offices.

Role: Solicitor

Location: Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Southampton or Taunton

Hours: Full Time

Term: Permanent

Vacancy Reference: 609-LVS

The role

This role will see you being involved with landlord and tenant work (rent reviews, dilapidations, lease renewals, service charge disputes etc), building and development, land acquisitions, strategic options, possession actions, purchaser claims, trespass and squatter actions and leasehold enfranchisement. You will be acting for a spread of household name clients, developers and property portfolio managers.

We are one of the largest property litigation teams in the UK and are consistently ranked highly by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Our experienced and well-regarded team represent clients such as Persimmon Homes and Burger King as well as private individuals and charities.

“The team is very helpful; their advice is clear and precise, and the way they go about things is very professional and organised.” Chambers UK 2020

“Everyone on the team is brilliant and focusses on the needs of the client.” Legal 500 2020

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate within a continually growing fast paced team. If you are a qualified solicitor with up to four years’ experience of property work, then we would like to hear from you. Whilst it is beneficial if you have property litigation experience, it is not an essential requirement for the role.

We look for lawyers with a strong intellect, which we expect to be evidenced with a high level of academic achievement, and someone who shows initiative, drive and excellent organisation skills.

We expect you to be a genuine team player with a client focused approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having begun to build up strong local professional connections.

If you would like to apply for this vacancy, please send us your CV, together with a covering email/letter using the apply button.
