A rare opportunity for a Public Law Children Specialist is sought by this long established Plymouth law firm. They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Solicitor or Legal Executive who specialises in Public Law children cases.

This is a full or part time permanent position that involves managing an existing busy caseload of care cases and is an excellent opportunity if you are committed to assisting often vulnerable clients and are ambitious to drive your career forward.

You will :

Have knowledge of the relevant law and case law;

Have experience acting for parents, children and/ or Local Authority in Care, Supervision and Adoption matters;

Have excellent IT skills;

Be a team player focussed on providing exceptional service and advice to your clients;

Manage your files so they are compliant with legal aid agency and Lexcel;

Have Membership of the Law Society’s Children Panel or be working towards accreditation.

You will join a law firm with a strong reputation who are progressive, modern and client focussed with plans and ambitions to grow their specialist sectors. Remuneration is competitive and is dependant upon experience.
