Based in our York office, we are looking for a Family Law Solicitor/ Legal Executive to join our established team.

The successful candidate will have a good grounding in the full spectrum of family law matters including divorce and associated financial settlements, private law children matters and cohabitation disputes.

The role is likely to suit someone with up to around 3 years PQE. Newly qualified solicitors will be considered where they can demonstrate solid family law experience gained within their training contract or earlier career. We would also consider applications from strong paralegals/ legal executives where they have the relevant experience.

Alongside the requisite technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent client management skills, strong researching and drafting ability, and a commitment to maintaining up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice. A strong team ethic is a must, as is the ambition to support additional growth within the team. Experience with business development is also an advantage.
