An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Crime Duty Solicitor in our clients thriving practice located in London. The successful applicant will provide high quality representation at police stations and Magistrates Courts whilst undertaking a varied caseload of criminal matters.
• Providing an excellent service to Legal Aid clients
• Attending police stations
• Providing advice and advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court
• Running police station and Magistrates’ Court files
• Representing clients detained at the police station
• Motoring offences
• Agency work
• Serious violence
• Applications are encouraged from solicitors with a minimum of three years’ PQE
• Duty accreditation is essential
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Demonstrate strong advocacy skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your workload effectively
