A solicitor with min. 3 years PQE in commercial property is sought by this West Sussex law firm

You will manage a caseload of commercial conveyancing as allocated by the Head of Department and work to agreed levels of billing targets. You will attend on clients and provide advice and support in a professional and friendly manner and have excellent client care standards.

You will also :

  • Comply with SRA rules;
  • Deal with correspondence in a timely manner;
  • Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations;
  • Supervise, support and develop other member in the department;
  • Develop and maintain the system of precedents to assist all fee earners;
  • Comply with relevant training requirements of SRA;
  • Be active in promoting the services of the firm, its image and ethos;
  • Provide guidance to junior and temporary staff when required;
  • ork closely with local Estate Agents to win new clients;

You will have a pleasant, assertive manner with tact and resilience. You will be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing.

You will be efficient and well organised with good diary and time management control.
