We’re ideally looking for a 1-4 year PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who will be responsible for managing a Multi-Track caseload of Professional Negligence cases.

 

Professional negligence experience would be an advantage but it’s not essential, indeed the position might suit a PI practitioner who is looking for a new challenge.

 

What you’ll need to bring is a knowledge and understanding of various protocols under CPR, and the multi-track and allocation tactics in respect of a specific project in respect of conveyancing negligence claims. 

 

In addition you’ll:

 

·         Bring general civil litigation experience including all procedural, advocacy and practical work

·         Have an understanding of Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules

·         Conduct your own advocacy on interlocutory applications and Case Management Hearings

·         Be able to work independently with minimal Counsel input apart from drafting of pleadings and Trial representation, with some limited administrative support

 

And if you bring this, what you’ll get in return is:
