Senior Regulatory Lawyer Sellafield Ltd

An exciting opportunity due to a vacancy that has arisen in a busy team.

The role will support the Sellafield Limited Legal team’s delivery of high value regulatory law support to an evolving business in a complex environment.

The role will encompass a diverse regulatory caseload, including contentious and non-contentious work. Following an initial period gaining knowledge of the business environment under the direction of the Head of Department, you will be responsible for your own caseload, reporting to the Head of Department.

As an in-house role this requires an excellent ability to deal with a wide range of people across the business, and to apply good client relationship management skills: a desire to be business-focussed and demonstrate a clear enthusiasm and passion for the business and your role in it is essential.
There are plenty of opportunities to work closely with clients and get involved in exciting decisions. You will bring an ability to think on your feet and bring a can-do attitude to the team and the business.

Regular team meetings and ongoing client relationship development with areas of the business fosters an open exchange of ideas and information and enables targeted business-focussed delivery.

Applications are invited from lawyers with a keen interest in regulatory law and strong desire to work in the nuclear sector. We would like to hear from high quality lawyers who are keen to make the transition and use their background in regulatory law to develop into the sector.

The key is the right individual for the team and the business.
