Who do we need?

We’re in need of someone who has a holistic approach to SEO, with a strong set of technical SEO skills - who can support us with performance reporting and the implementation of strategy. You will take full responsibility to deliver a superb SEO-optimised website. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to eventually take full ownership of SEO and grow with the business. This is a pivotal role in driving the business forward by increasing enquiry volumes.

We're looking for someone who isn’t afraid to reach out to journalists, influencers and local leaders to establish mutually beneficial partnerships. You'll be curious and willing to chip in with tasks outside of your core skill set, with a desire to pick up new skills to broaden your capabilities.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

* Fixing existing technical SEO issues across the site
* Advise and consult on proposed website changes to ensure the greatest value is delivered
* Thorough reporting on site health and opportunities and weekly technical audits
* Keyword research to improve traffic and visibility.
* Increasing organic traffic to the website and using data to improve customer journeys and traffic.
* Contribute to, and implement the SEO strategy, including campaign work
* Make recommendations to the content team to drive search results
* Regular keyword research and competitor analysis
* Management of third party agencies, partners, and suppliers
* Create detailed quarterly plans
* Develop link building/outreach campaigns
* Researching new website targets for SEO outreach
* Development of partnerships to secure link opportunities
* Ongoing analysis of competitors, site traffic and user behaviours
* Management of website content (through wordpress) and creation of new pages
* Work to KPI’s while supporting the team in achieving channel enquiry targets
* Report on weekly and monthly performance

The ideal candidate will:

* Be an experienced SEO Executive or a senior SEO, with proven experience in improving SEO and delivering successfulSEO strategies.
* Have strong technical SEO skills
* Strong technical software skills: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, etc.
* Able to create visual reports through PowerPoint, Excel and Datastudio
* Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
* Experience in managing and publishing to a website via a CMS
* Strong copywriting skills and an eye for detail
* Creativity and can work to tight corporate guidelines
* Great communication skills, both oral and written
* An ambitious, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
* A ‘can-do’ attitude
* Able to take the initiative but able to follow processes when needed
* The ability to constructively question ideas and processes, leading to better results
