Are you a Senior QA and want to help shape DLA Piper’s future?

We're looking for ambitious, progressive and experienced individuals, who want to make a real difference within the QA space.

As we are a new team, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to truly help shape our QA team of the future, supporting the continuous improvement of Quality Engineering through innovation and automation.

Though the role will be involved in managing the test process, including sometimes executing tests, this is much more than a testing role. We are looking for someone to bring their wealth of skills and understanding to the projects and work streams on which they will lead, to consult and advise on the best QA and test approach, with a focus on achieving most effective and long term benefits.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engaging in early life-cycle activities to identify QA and testing scope, approach, resources, schedule and targets

*

Carrying out appropriate quality monitoring and control, report on progress to help achieve quality targets

*

Responsibilities include all aspects of testing including creating and executing the test plan, test cases, regression testing, and test data/file creation

*

Develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures and conducts tests

*

Documents and analyses test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will bring a deep portfolio of senior level QA and testing experience, covering every aspect of the Quality Assurance lifecycle, from engaging at the test planning and strategy phase and identifying QA scope, to mentoring, coaching and inspiring others in QA techniques and best practise.

This is an opportunity to work with stakeholders from across the IT department and the wider international business on innovative legal solutions. People and relationships are extremely important to us and this role best suits someone who can engage effectively with all stakeholder types, influencing best outcomes, with the customer as the focus.
