Our client, a Legal 500 firm based in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking an experienced senior employment solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join the expanding Employment and Business Immigration Teams.

The firm is offering work dealing with a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious issues acting for some claimant but mostly respondent clients. It will include a range of work in almost every type of sector from financial services to pharmaceuticals, retail, manufacturing, engineering, business and professional services.

The role will involve giving day-to-day advice on disciplinary and grievances, managing sickness absence, TUPE transfers, conducting redundancy programmes and drafting contracts, policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates will have previously worked at a City or a large commercial practice known for its employment work and will hold excellent academic qualifications.

An interest or experience in handling Tier 2 business visas for clients would be an advantage.
