Senior Childcare Lawyer

Sellick Partnership is pleased to be assisting with the recruitment for a Senior Childcare Lawyer to join an Alternative Business Structure based in Kent on a permanent and remote (if preferred) basis.

Our client specialises in undertaking work for Local Authorities and they are seeking a Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their established and well supported Childcare Team.

The ideal Senior Childcare Lawyer will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent with proven experience of child protection work, including advocacy in the Family Courts.

Day to day responsibilities may include;

• Represent clients before the court
• Work collaboratively within the team, advising upon all aspects of the work of the Child Protection Team, including advice to social workers, the Office of General Counsel and external clients
• Carry out legal research for own cases, and share expertise and knowledge with fellow team members
• Deputise for the Principal Solicitors as and when required
