The Role

The South Coast Private Client team is based in the Chichester office and advises on Wealth and Estate Planning, Probate, Elderly and Vulnerable issues and also specialises in Tax Compliance and Trust Administration. You’ll work with high net-worth individuals to ensure that they remain tax compliant.

Given the nature of the role and the work the team does, you must have an exceptional technical ability, ensuring your knowledge remains up-to-date at all times especially given the ever changing landscape of tax legislation. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and will enjoy building lasting and rewarding relationships with clients. You’ll also be able to work collaboratively with others, coaching and guiding more junior members of the team to share best practice and develop their technical expertise.

As a senior member of the team, you will play an integral role in the growth and leadership of the team. We’d like you to have a strong appetite for business development - developing external relationships to provide an exceptional client experience whilst also generating new business and growing the reputation of the team.

If you are looking for the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.

The Benefits

In addition to your basic salary we have a competitive benefits package including pension, critical illness cover, health cash plan, death in service, discounted legal services, 25 days hols (this increases with length of service), discounted online shopping, discounted gym memberships and season ticket loans.

Additional Information

As part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s on-boarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process. This process helps to ensure that all new employees meet our standards in relation to honesty and integrity therefore protecting the interests of the Group, existing employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders.

The background checks made will establish your eligibility to work in the UK, and criminal record check and financial checks with a credit reference agency will also be undertaken.

The employment screening process will fully comply with Data Protection and other applicable laws.

Irwin Mitchell LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
