Team

Our Cyber Security and Data Protection team, within our Legal network is uniquely placed as part of the Tax practice providing opportunities for cross-working and collaboration between specialities. We provide business-critical support on data protection matters to clients all over the world. We bring the best of business understanding, technology, innovation and data protection expertise to advise our clients.

With more than 3,700 legal specialists in over 100 countries, our legal services network is one of the most extensive in the world, connecting you with talented professionals to leverage and learn from throughout your career with us.

This role offers the flexibility to work a minimum of 4 days per week, enabling you to balance your career with other passions or commitments. The Role

12 - 18 months Fixed term contract (Maternity Cover)

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping our clients tackle their complex data protection issues.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above

Supporting the financial management of clients

Assisting in the delivery of large projects

Document and report drafting e.g. data protection policies

Drafting presentations and proposals

Keeping up to date with emerging data protection and privacy regulation, case law and regulatory guidance

Essential Skills and Experience

Preferred

2 - 4 years PQE lawyer

Required

+2 years strong technical data protection experience in-house or in a recognised data protection practice

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience of working on large and small project teams

Experience in drafting data protection policies and similar
