An exciting opportunity for a Property Litigation Lawyer to grow and develop our landlord services and leasehold work.

We require a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive Advocate with at least 2 years of Post Qualification Experience. You will be experienced in all aspects of landlord and tenant law having acted for landlords in possession and disrepair claims; and have a good knowledge of leasehold work (statutory lease extension procedure, collective enfranchisement procedure and dispute resolution).

You will be working with colleagues specialising in housing and public law and will receive direct referrals from our conveyancing colleagues. Our reputation for good quality advice and representation has been recognised by Chambers and Partners (where our social welfare team is ranked in Band 2 with 3 lawyers ranked individually) and the Legal 500 (Tier 2). Currently we are unable to meet demand for our property litigation services and you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop this section of our team.

Our staff are without doubt our best asset. We offer excellent support and training opportunities acknowledged in our Lexcel accreditation awards and positively encourage every individual’s contribution as to how we deliver services. We use a paperless case management system which allows us to provide flexible working practices.

For full job requirements please see the application pack.

Hours: 35 per week; 9.30am-5.30pm Monday–Friday (alternative working arrangements including part-time hours will be considered).

Salary subject to experience; 23 days annual leave.

Starting date: January 2019.

The successful candidate will be based in our Clapham Junction office.

Please note we will not process any applications where a TV Edwards application form is not completed and emailed to Christine Woolfenden.

The closing date for applications is 9am Monday 3rd December with interviews to be held on Thursday 13th December 2018.
