An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced part-time or full-time Residential Property Legal Secretary to join our client’s office on the scenic coast of Dorset. The successful candidate will be providing timely, professional, accurate and efficient assistance to fee earners to ensure the highest level of service to clients at all times. Duties will include: word processing; audio typing; diary management; updating databases, records and filing systems; opening and closing of files; liaising with clients via the telephone and accurately recording any messages; production of documentation and; any additional duties that may be required. Applications are encouraged from Legal Secretaries with at least 18 months previous experience gained in a similar support role within a residential conveyancing department.
It is desirable to have Housing Association conveyancing knowledge from a support perspective.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
The successful candidate should have first class communication and organisation skills.
A minimum speed of 60wpm for audio typing is desired.
Ideally, you will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as working on own initiative.
