JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancing Assistant
PQE REQUIRED: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience as a Residential Conveyancing Assistant
LOCATION: Stevenage
SALARY: £18-22k + Bonuses

THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded commercial practice based in Hertfordshire. Our client is seeking to grow their highly successful residential conveyancing team with an assistant. The team is recognised as one of the very successful departments within the firm and holds a strong position within the market. They are looking to expand further with an individual to assist with all areas of the conveyancing process. They are keen for you to take responsibility often having the first point of contact with the client and taking the process from initial transaction through the completion. You will support the Residential Conveyancing fee earners with preparation of standard letters and documents using the firm's Case Management system; preparation of bills and completion statements, setting up and dealing with completions and all post-completion matters.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful individual will have c3-4 years' experience either as a paralegal or conveyancing assistant or be an able and experienced secretary that is looking to take a step up. You will have an excellent understanding of the residential conveyancing process along with strong communication skills. You will be confident dealing with clients and will have a real enthusiasm for working in this area. The team is supportive and will provide a welcoming working environment, you will undoubtedly feel that your development and career progression will be encouraged. Experience of compliance related matters and money laundering requirements will be useful.
