My client is a regional law firm with an excellent property reputation in the South West. Due to a period of expansion the client is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to assist in the provision of a comprehensive efficient and professional legal service to clients in their Residential Property Department in Totnes.
The key task of the role to undertake conveyancing work to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency by effective and proactive use of the Practices Case and Practice Management Systems, the work to comprise of overseeing the conduct and progress of cases, delegation of varying complexities of work and where necessary personally dealing with work from the initial setup to the end of the transaction, including checking the legal title, preparing reports, checking searches and mortgage offers, dealing with non standard post, exchanging contracts, and post completion work and ensuring deadlines are met and any service standards are adhered to.
