We are looking to recruit Qualified Lawyers (Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancer) within our Residential Conveyancing team. We are looking for Conveyancing Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancers in our Banbury and Bicester offices.
About the Role
As a Conveyancer at Brethertons you will provide advice within the Residential Conveyancing team, based on policy and legislation. You will undertake specialist or technical research and analysis, and provide tailored commercial solutions to serve customers needs. You will work as part of a small team in the Banbury or Bicester office, but a wider Conveyancing team across our Warwickshire and Oxfordshire offices.
You will report into the Head of Practice area and/or an Associate and demonstrate effective delegation of procedural, clerical, and administrative tasks to Legal Assistants or Legal Secretaries as appropriate.
In order to be successful you must be qualified in the area of practice (either as a solicitor, Legal Executive or as a Licenced Conveyancer). You must have a robust knowledge of the Conveyancing sector, have experience conducting legal checking, along with experience of case management and managing a portfolio of conveyancing files from start to finish. You will be accountable for organising your own workload and make independent decisions relating to the area of your responsibility. You will manage higher fee earning targets to contribute to the fee earning potential for your practice area you must be able to communicate effectively on every level; you are on the front line of customer communications and must set the example to other staff in the delivery of exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role you must be able to work independently and be self motivated, but also work well in a team in order for practice area goals to be met. You must be able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
