The Team
The core Facilities team is responsible for the firm's premises, building maintenance and client-facing areas. Our aim is to maintain our premises to a high standard and to keep them clean, safe and secure thereby providing all at BLP with a pleasant working environment.
Working at a top international law firm the role provides the opportunity to experience a fast paced, varied role managing a dynamic Reception team and overseeing the day to day activities of the outsourced catering function.
The Opportunity
The Reception Manager has a diverse spectre of responsibilities, including but not limited to staff training and development, annual performance reviews, managing rotas as well as liaising across all departments to ensure the smooth running of meetings.
The role gives an opportunity to identify areas of improvement and implement new ways of working to maintain/improve client service. You will also be involved in managing conflicting bookings and prioritising day to day team tasks.
Who we’re looking for
You will have previous experience of managing a large team in a busy corporate environment and the ability to coach and mentor other team members. You should also have solid knowledge of room booking systems and MS packages.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate at all levels are essential. Exceptional timekeeping, flexibility in both attitude and working hours is also a key.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile. You will be a good team player and capable of working on your own initiative.
