A great and exciting new opportunity for a Senior Associate to join one of biggest real-estate teams in the world which has a leading reputation across a wide spectrum of markets, this is a global firm that operates in 70 different countries. You will be joining a team which forms an essential part of an award winning practice that includes a complete range of real estate services to clients from development, L&T, acquisitions and disposals, structured investments, construction and real estate finance to retail and estate finance.

- Advising major household name retailers including John Lewis, Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer on the management of their portfolios.
- Acting for a Developer on a large regeneration project in London to build a new Football Stadium, Hotel, and approximately 100 high-end apartments.
- C. £70m deal acting for a Middle-Eastern investor on its sale of a trophy investment site in Pimlico, London.
- Guiding Network Rail on a series of headline-making rail, infrastructure, and commercial development projects and the management of their portfolio across the UK.
- Acting for most of the UK banks on several high-profile real estate funding transactions.

The Role

- You will carry out a broad range of real estate work and play a fundamental role in BD, with a focus on the team's major retail clients.
- Advising clients on a variety of high-profile international real estate and domestic investment, finance, development and retail transactions.
- Acting for major investors, landlords and tenants, funds, hoteliers and insolvency practitioners on landlord and tenant matters, major financing's, and restructuring/insolvency transactions.

Responsibilities

- Leading on real estate finance, investment-based disposals and acquisitions (including corporate share acquisitions), development and restructuring, and insolvency transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating security documentation and ancillary property documentation on real estate finance transactions.
- Carrying out asset management type work (e.g. shopping centres) and dealing with L&T leasing matters.
- Liaising with our planning, construction, employment, corporate, tax and banking teams as appropriate.
- Dealing with the usual real estates due diligence requirements such as the preparation/review of certificates/reports of title and summary report.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate documents, including sale/purchase contracts, development agreements, and agreements for leases and leases.
- Carrying out transactional sales/purchase, leasing and portfolio management work, and general commercial property work.
