About Eversheds Sutherland:
The Eversheds Sutherland Real Estate practice has status and substance. External commentators often refer to us as one of the largest real estate practices and there are very few firms that have such a varied portfolio of work. We aim to be first to the market for solutions for our clients and work seamlessly across borders, integrating our specialists as they need them. The team includes leading experts working on virtually every form of major infrastructure and development project in the market today; shaping the law and delivering the projects that matter. We were yet again awarded Real Estate Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2017.
We are looking for an Associate to join our highly successful and expanding Real Estate team in Leeds to specialise in transactional real estate work. You can expect to become involved with landlord and tenant transactions, real estate finance, acquisitions/disposals and asset management work. You will have a diverse, challenging and rewarding workload in a progressive and thriving team.
The role will give you exposure to high quality work for clients across our team. This will include institutional investors, banks and corporate occupiers.
Reporting directly into the Partners in the team, you will enjoy a pivotal role in the team with the opportunity to build and develop new and existing client relationships, as well as running a varied and rewarding caseload.
Skills and experience:
You will possess wide ranging commercial property experience. Ideally we are looking for a solicitor with 0 - 6 years’ PQE but we are happy to hear from any candidates who can demonstrate the skills and experience required.
In order to be successful the applicant must be able to meet client needs, both from a commercial and technical perspective and build exceptional relationships with internal and external contacts. They will have good communication and influencing skills together with technical skills and knowledge. They will enjoy working as part of a team but be equally able to manage their own matters efficiently and promptly. We are looking for candidates who can show they are client-centred, and can manage quality, risk and finance.
Choose Eversheds Sutherland and you join a business on an exhilarating journey to cement its position as one of the leading international law firms. Combined with the hugely varied national and international opportunities available, your experience here will, inevitably, be stimulating and enriching. You'll be given the opportunity to really use your talents and build a career, not just fill a role. We'll give you development opportunities, clear career paths and regular assessment so you can judge your progress.
We're a modern, progressive law firm. We think differently and we've built a culture where individual skills and personalities can shine through. At Eversheds Sutherland, we believe that innovation comes from a culture of genuine equality and diversity and we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require in the recruitment process, or once in post.
We are an LGBT inclusive employer and are Stonewall Corporate Champions.
In addition to the above, Eversheds Sutherland also require awareness of and full participation in the Firm’s commitment to equality and diversity, the environment and health and safety.
Eversheds Sutherland endeavours to recruit and fill vacancies directly. However, when we do need to engage with agencies, Eversheds Sutherland operates within a preferred supplier list.
