Professional Support Lawyer, Manchester

We are looking for a Professional Support Lawyer to join a a leading Casualty Team within the Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

-Responsible for client facing technical legal content and knowledge development
-Providing strategic knowledge and development support to partners worldwide
-Develop legal content for client seminars and knowledge development events
-Preparing market insight reports
-Client innovation initiatives
-Preparing client operational reports
-Client updates on important legal and sector developments
-Preparing articles / content for industry publications
-Administer the client knowledge section on the firm's website
-Run internal training programs
-Assisting with the seminar and articles
-Programmes for clients with innovative ideas, preparation as appropriate.
-Involvement in drafting client briefings, internal newsletters and ad hoc notes on cases for external/internal circulation.
-Assisting with the drafting/updating of key specific know how documents and practice guides

You will need:
Legally qualified ideally no less than 5 years' PQE working in a leading insurance practice
Candidates with development potential to become a trusted advisor to partners and fee earners on a wide variety of insurance focused legal and market issues
Good client-facing skills
Genuine appetite to move to a professional support role
Qualified Solicitor/Barrister, University Degree - minimum 2:1
Strong academics
Trained with a recognised quality insurance practice
